How Rooms Get Fixed

Four stages, one goal

A room the band stops fighting & the team can actually run.

(Listen First)

Every bad room is bad for a reason. Finding it comes before fixing it.

The work starts with ears in the seats, not a quote sheet. What the team’s fighting, what the room’s doing wrong & what’s actually causing it.

(Design)

Gear picked for the room & the budget, not the catalog.

Speakers, amps, DSP & rigging specified to fit the space & the money, with headroom left for what’s next instead of a rip-out in three years.

(Tune & Commission)

Time-aligned, EQ’d & verified seat by seat.

A system is only as good as its tuning. The back row hears the same show as the front, & it’s proven before handoff, not promised.

(Train the Team)

Built to run without JJ in the building.

Volunteers & staff trained on the desk they’ll actually use, so the room works every single week, not just on install day.

Hands on a mixing console at front of house

Good rooms don’t happen by accident.

Every room that finally sounds right got there the same way: somebody listened first, designed on purpose & tuned until it was true.
